The 34-year-old Kapamilya actress is now engaged to the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Paul Jake Castillo. 

"We started off as friends tapos naging partner in crime kita, best friend, tapos hindi mo talaga napigilan at ginawa mo akong boyfriend. Now I'd like to seal it,"said Paul Jake. 

Then he popped the question, "Will you marry me?" while he was holding the ring on his hands. 

The proposal happened during the surprise birthday party that he prepared for Kaye at the helipad of a high-rise building in Alabang. 

Many celebrities congratulated the actress including John Prats and Pooh.

Manny Pacquiao already has a seat in the Upper House since he is the 7th placer in the senatorial place with 15, 592, 240 votes based on the partial and unofficial results taken from the Comelec Transparency Server. 

The retired boxer claims that he already has several bills that he wants to file when he already becomes an official part of the Philippine Senate.


One of the bills that he is looking forward to pass is the free education for students from elementary up to colleges for those who could not afford to get proper education. 

"'Yung pino-propose natin na libreng education from elementary to college sa mga pamilya na hindi talaga makapag-paaral – dapat may ganoon," he said. "Para walang dahilan ang mga bata na hindi makapag-aral."



He has plans of becoming active in the senate to be worthy of the votes of the people who gave their trust to the former representative of Sarangani.

'What I will do is urge Congress to restore death penalty by hanging,' this is the statement that he said in a press briefing that he had in Davao. 

This is one of his steps in making sure that the numbers of drugs and criminality rate would decrease in the Philippines. 

He would also make a 'shoot-to-kill' order for those criminals who are brutally resisting the arrest.

According to the presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte one of the injustices that happened in the Philippines is the way people treat Lapu-Lapu. And this is one of his concerns when he becomes the president of the Philippines. He wanted to correct it in his administration. 

Duterte plans on making Lapu-Lapu a proper hero of the Philippines since he was one of the natives who bravely fought the Spanish forces 300 years ago when they landed in Cebu. 


"I will raise to level to the stature of a hero si Lapu-Lapu. He was the first native who fought and even killed the imperialists, si [Ferdinand] Magellan. To honor his feat," said Duterte. 

"Lapu-Lapu should be given the highest honor. Siya ang unang nakipagbakbakan eh kasi ginawa lang nila si Lapu-Lapu na isda and I do not like it," this was said in one of his campaign speeches. 


Duterte puts it in the hands of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines to find a way on how Filipinos would be known nationwide.

Duterte warns Taxi Drivers Who Does Not Give Exact Change To Passengers! Must Watch!

Another warning is being sent out by the presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte and this time it is addressed to the cab drivers who are fond of taking advantage the change from their passengers.


In the press conference that was held in Davao City, he said that he will not tolerate this kind of acts which are considered to be 'extortion or illegal exaction'. 

He further explained saying, 'Yung taxi both dito sa Davao pati sa Maynila, alam mo pag kinuha mo pera ng talo dahil wala kang sinsilyo (change or coins) at di mo binalik, that is estafa. 

Duterte is also encouraging the commuters to prepare the exact amount and figure out the fare needed in the destination that you will be going to.


Last January, there was a bill that was approved by the House of Representatives that aims to protect the passengers from the dishonest and opportunistic drivers.
