| Maxine Medina Was Hailed As The Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2016! Posted: 18 Apr 2016 08:54 PM PDT  The Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2016 was already crowned on Sunday, April 17. The coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas happened at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.  Candidate No. 29 Maxine Medina took home the crown as the Miss Universe-Philippines. She will be following the footsteps of Pia Alonzo-Wurtzbach in competing in the Miss Universe.  The crowd favorite, Kylie Verzosa, Candidate No. 31 was crowned as the Bb. Pilipinas-International.  Here are the lists of the other winners: Candidate No. 13 Joanna Eded - Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational Candidate No. 26 Jennifer Hammond - Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental Candidate No. 11- Nicole Cordoves - Bb. Pilipinas Grand International The sister of Bianca Manalo, Nichole Marie Manalo was hailed as the Miss Globe Philippines. | MUST WATCH: Alleged Vote-buying Captured In Roxas' Campaign Rally Posted: 18 Apr 2016 04:34 AM PDT  A video originally posted on Facebook by 'KutangBato Vlogger' having Roxas and his camp as the primary subjects is now making rounds online. The video uploader mentioned that the video was recorded in Cotabato City prior to the massive conflict between the Kidapawan farmers and security forces. The video records one of the rehearsals done by the camp where the audience are required to cheer aloud according to the chant given them. The chant "Oras na, Roxas na" according to the emcee has to be heard loud and clear or else the participating audience will not be receiving an envelope. As the video closes, almost timely for Roxas' arrival, the emcee is seen giving away two envelopes to two women who have correctly answered his questions before the audience. When the netizens get to watch the video, they concluded that it's definitely a practice of vote-buying. But it is yet to be proven. |
